With Elvis Week officially behind us, it’s interesting to see what lies ahead. August 2008 will probably an off year, as most fans prefer to save their money for the bigger celebrations. The very first “big one” is most likely August 2009, when fans will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Elvis’s triumphant return to live performances in Vegas. 2009 is also the year in which the new Elvis show debuts at Cirque du Soleil on the Vegas Strip. After that, it’s just a matter of time for the next special Elvis Week. Elvis would have been 75 in January 2010 – and yessir, you bet’ya that we’ll be there for those tribute weeks!
