Legendary artist and illustrator of the cult book "Rock Dreams" Guy Peellaert (Belgium) has passed away at the age of 74. Peellaert is probably best known for his pop art paintings that graced covers of the Rolling Stoned and David Bowie. One of his favorite singers was Elvis, and it's probably no surprise that John Lennon had a Peellaert painting of him and Elvis framed as the centerpiece of his home in New York. Peellaerts work now hangs in countless cafes, bars and restaurants all over the world.
