Synopsis:
Including every finished song and surviving take recorded at Sun during 1954 and 1955 (after which Presley signed with RCA) by Elvis, Scotty Moore and Bill Black, these are the recordings made as Rock N' Roll was invented. There's little else to say, except that virtually record made since has in some direct or indirect way been hugely influenced by the contents of this astonishing collection. Also features the complete 'Hayride' live recording from '54 and '55 (Louisiana's version of the Grand Ol' Opry), and the 1953 recordings Elvis made at Sun as a present for his mother.
